Lenka Studio (PT Lentera Karya Digital, "we", "our", or "us") operates lenkastudio.com and the Lenka Studio app on Meta's platform, which connects businesses to the WhatsApp Business Platform. This page explains how to ask us to delete your data. It applies alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. Data this covers
- Information you sent us through this website, such as contact form messages, job applications, and newsletter sign-ups
- Data we receive through the Lenka Studio Meta app when a business connects its WhatsApp Business Account, such as account and phone number IDs, business profile details, message templates, and the messages exchanged with that business's customers
- Any data we received when you connected a Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp account to a Lenka Studio app or service
2. How to request deletion
Email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include:
- Your name, and the email address or phone number linked to your data
- The business, Facebook Page, or WhatsApp number involved, if any
- Whether you want all of your data deleted or only specific items
3. Remove Lenka Studio's access on Meta
You can stop the Lenka Studio app from receiving new data at any time:
- Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations), find "Lenka Studio", and remove it.
- WhatsApp Business Account: in Meta Business Settings, open Accounts → WhatsApp accounts, select your account, and remove Lenka Studio from its partners.
Removing access stops new data from reaching us. To delete data we already hold, send a request as described in section 2.
4. What happens next
- We confirm we've received your request within 3 business days and may ask you to verify your identity.
- We delete your data within 30 days of verifying the request, from our systems and from the third-party services we use to process it.
- We email you once the deletion is complete.
5. Messages with businesses that use our services
If you messaged a business that uses Lenka Studio's WhatsApp tools, that business controls your conversation data and we process it on their behalf. You can contact the business directly. If you contact us instead, we'll pass your request to the business and delete the data we hold for it once they confirm.
6. Data we may need to keep
We may keep data we're required to hold by law, such as invoices and tax records, or data needed to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement. We keep it only for as long as that obligation lasts and delete it afterwards.
